Ang-Chih Kao answered this question assuming you were not referring
to https, i.e. http over SSL. 

Pi3Web has been integrated with SSLeay (Eric Youngs very popular
SSL library) to implement full https (I was very impressed when
I saw it!), however due to a whole boat load of legal issues
the source code to integrate Pi3Web with SSLeay can not easily
be made available (strict US export laws regarding SSLeay). 

However with the time and the C programming skills its a very
quick (but rather advanced) task to build an integration module.
And if you develop this outside the US you can share it with others...
