^^^^ Hi,
yes I think I can help. Possibly your ISP connection goes through a proxy
server and your browser is configured to use this proxy connection?
Then got to Edit|Settings|Extended|Proxies and switch to "Manual Proxy
Configuration" then edit the settings in the below way for NS 4.0 or
go to View|Options|Connection|Proxy Server|Settings in MSIE 3.02.
(MSIE 4.0 I don't use, find the corresponding menu). Then exclude from using
proxy all host names for your localhost and all IP's of your local machine too.
(By default localhost and 127.0.0.1). Similar problems you could have if you're
using a local proxy server. Then solve it in the same way.
