Isapi-limitation in posting

I am programming Isapi-modules, they work fine with Pi3, but recently I have run into a limitation. When I post data to a Isapi-DLL the data is truncated at a little more than 1.5 Kb. My question: is there a setting that can be changed to overcome this? Or is this a program 'feature', if so, any chance it will be dealt with in a new release?
