Policy of the Pi3Web Certification Authority


The Pi3Web Certification Authority (Pi3CA) is intended for signing SSL client (user) and server certificates solely for demonstration and testing purposes.

The users of the Pi3CA are requested to use the Pi3CA sensible.

The Pi3CA issues certificates automatically without checking the authenticity of the certificate signing request (CSR).

Users, who cease the usage of a certificate or who assume compromising of the certificate or the related keys are encouraged to revoke their certificates.

The Pi3CA may revoke their root certificate or discontinue operation at any time without further notice.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATOR OF THE PI3CA BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES; LOSS OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) HOWEVER CAUSED AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
